1.      Are the paintings originals or prints?

Each painting is an original, created by the artist FD Longo, and officially registered with the Copyright Office of the U.S. Library of Congress.

 

2.      Is the artist’s signature on the Artwork?

FD Longo signs every painting with either FD Longo or FDL.  Check the painting description and photo for details.

 

3.      Will the colors match what I see on my monitor?

Photos are taken with a high-resolution digital camera to ensure accuracy. However, colors vary from monitor to monitor.

 

4.      Do you include a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes, every work of art includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by FD Longo.

 

5.      What does Wrapped Stretched Canvas mean?

The canvas is wrapped around the sides of a stretcher bar and stapled to the back of the frame.  A decorative frame is not necessary. The border is painted with either a solid color or the painting continues on the sides of the canvas.

 

6.      Does the artwork come ready to hang?

Yes, all artwork comes ready to hang.  The hardware used is specifically rated for the weight of the artwork to ensure that it is properly supported when displayed.

 

7.      What is included with the purchase of a piece of artwork?

We include the Certificate of Authenticity, gloves to handle your artwork and information on hanging and preserving your artwork. 

 

8.      Are the artworks available as prints?

All paintings are original works of art, copyright protected, and are not reproduced or published by FD Longo.

1.      What forms of payment do you accept?  
FD Longo Art accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal.

 

2.      Will I be charged tax?

Tax is charged on orders shipped within Ohio.

The buyer accepts responsibility for all taxes, import duties, and any additional fees associated with shipping the painting.

 

3.      What happens when I click "Pay Now"?

You will be directed to a secure PayPal check out site. PayPal uses SSL technology which guarantees a safe purchase transaction. PayPal protects the buyer's information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems, and the buyer's financial information is not shared with the seller. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for the transaction.

 

4.      How safe is the information I give you?

Very safe! We do not rent, trade or share your personal information with any third party. Your privacy and satisfaction are very important to us. We do not collect any debit, credit card, bank account or any other payment information since the checkout process is made through PayPal. The only information we receive from PayPal is the buyer’s name, email and shipping address for contact and delivery purposes. PayPal protects the buyer's information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems.

 

5.      What if I have trouble paying with PayPal?

PayPal has various security measures in place to protect their users from fraudulent activity. For this reason, PayPal may occasionally prohibit a buyer from submitting payment. If you’re experiencing issues using your PayPal account, please contact PayPal directly for assistance, or visit their website for troubleshooting information.

 

6.      Can I cancel my order prior to shipping?

Yes, you have the right to cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.  Contact us at customer-service@fdlongo.com.

1.      How do you ship artwork? 
Artwork is carefully packaged in a custom-built box to insure safe delivery.  We use protective material such as glassine, bubble wrap, cling film, artist tape, polyfoam and cardboard corner protectors to protect the artwork during shipping.  All artwork is shipped fully insured, direct delivery and signature required for delivery.

 

2.      What countries do you ship to?

We proudly ship worldwide!

 

3.      How much will it cost to ship my artwork?

We have included the price of shipping and handling within the artwork price. 

Artwork shipped outside of the United States may be subject to duties, taxes and/or fees which are the responsibility of the buyer.

 

4.      Who is responsible for taxes, duties and fees?

Import duties, taxes and additional fees are not included in the item price or shipping charge.  The buyer accepts responsibility for all taxes and duties costs.  These costs are normally collected by the delivering shipping company

5.      Do you have any shipping restrictions?

Domestic Shipping:

We are not able to ship to a P.O. Box, Army Post Office (APO) or a Fleet Post Office (FPO).

International Shipping: 

We cannot ship to certain countries due to customs regulations.  If you are unsure of your country’s regulations, email us at contact@fdlongo.com. 

 

6.      How many days will it take it take for my artwork to arrive? 
Artwork is typically shipped within two to five business days.

 Within the Continental United States all artwork is shipped Direct Delivery, Insured, and a signature confirmation is required.  Please allow three to six days for your artwork to reach you once it has shipped.  You will receive an email with a tracking number once your artwork ships.

 Outside of the United States may take two to four weeks for delivery, depending on the destination country.  We are not responsible for shipping delays or omissions caused by the carrier or your country's customs

 Please note that during the holidays, shipping may take longer.

 7.    Can I change the address or reroute the package during shipping?

No, we ship all artwork Direct Delivery Only which ensures a package is delivered to the billing address you provide during the checkout process. This service stops recipients from redirecting packages and prevents drivers from rerouting deliveries when recipients are not at home. 

 8.    What if I have a Driver Release or Letter Box Release?

All artwork is shipped requiring a signature for delivery.  The shipment is not eligible for Drive Release or Letter Box Release.     

 9.    Where does the artwork ship from?

All paintings ship from FD Longo’s studio located in Aurora, Ohio USA

 10.  How will I know when you ship my artwork?

Once your artwork has shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email.

 

11.  How do I track my order?

The shipping confirmation email will contain the tracking information for you to be able to track your artwork.


returns

1.    How do I return a piece of artwork? 

When you first receive the artwork, save the original packaging materials. Repackage the art in its original box and contact us at returns@fdlongo.com.  We will provide you with the return shipping address and details so you can ship the artwork back to us. We will issue you a refund for the price of the artwork minus the cost of shipping the artwork to you. Artwork must be returned in its original packaging and original condition. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and any customs and brokerage fees charged upon return.  Please carefully read our Return Policy.

 

2.    What should I do if I receive a damaged piece of art? 
Save all original packaging material.
  We must have these items in order to process a claim.  Contact us within 24 hours at customer-service@fdlongo.com . We must process a claim within five (5) days.  If you do not contact us within five (5) days, you will not be eligible for a refund. Please carefully read our Return Policy.
